Obituary of
Wray, Barbara K.
Barbara K. Wray was called home to her Lord August 7, 2008. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, the youngest of nine children. She is survived and will be missed by her husband of 47 years, Phillip L. Wray, her daughter, Patty Deaton and son-in-law Dan, her son Phillip L. Wray II and wife Jeanne, grandchildren Christopher and Davis Deaton and Lesley and Anderson Wray, sisters Patsy Neely, Shirley Dean, and Joanne Wade, and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. She was a longtime member of Royal Haven Baptist church. She loved to read, dote on her grandchildren, and support numerous charities including the SPCA, the American Diabetes Association, and American Heart Association. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday, August 10 at North Dallas Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday, August 11 at Valley Ranch Baptist Church, 1501 E. Beltline Rd., Coppell. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to one of the above charities. Arrangements by North Dallas Funeral Home.
