Wray, Sr., Phillip L.
Phillip L. Wray, Sr., passed away at his home unexpectedly September
6. Born December 20, 1934, he
was the 5th of 8 children. He was
preceded in death by his wife of 47
years, Barbara. Phil is survived by
his son, Phillip, and daughter-in-law Jeanne and his daughter, Patty Deaton, and son-in-law Dan,
grandchildren Lesley and Andy
Wray and Christopher and Davis
Deaton as well as brothers Basil and Donnie Wray and sisters Annie
Hawkes, Lorraine DenHerder and
Gloria Dahlquist, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Phil was a retired commercial airline pilot having flown for Braniff International and Ryan International and served as a 727 instructor. He was passionate about his grandchildren and spent much of his free time attending their sporting events and band concerts. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m.Thursday September 9 at North Dallas Funeral Home in Farmers Branch. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday September 10 at Valley Ranch Baptist Church in Coppell.
