Young, Frances A.
Frances Annette Young was born in Vashti, Texas on November 8, 1938 to Herman and Opal Cozart. She grew up in Vashti and was a 1957 graduate of Bellevue High School where she was valedictorian, played volleyball, basketball, and softball. She attended Drahan Business School. In the summer of 1958, she met Pete Young and on September 5, 1960 they were married. She enjoyed traveling with Pete and the children, including camping, skiing and trips overseas, her favorite destination being the Holy Land. She was a staunch supporter of all Dallas Professional Sports, especially the Cowboys, and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in their respective sports. She and her sister created crafts and were involved in many area craft shows, including the Carrollton Country Fair. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Carrollton from 1972 until her death. Annette is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Pete Young, her four children and spouse, Greg Young, Kim Young, Doug Young, and Jennifer Korba and her husband, Mark, her grandchildren, McKenna and Christian Young, her sister, Jane Crowe, and many other loving relatives and friends. She is joined in Heaven with her father, Herman Cozart and mother, Opal Cozart. She will be truly missed, but because of God
