She was a Chi Omega at Oklahoma State University and voted the Sugar Bowl queen. “Moth” (short for Mother) received her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas and a Master’s in Special Education from North Texas State University.

A former flight attendant at American Airlines, Moth became a phenomenal first and second grade teacher. She taught for over twenty-six years at: Preston Hollow Elementary School, Stephen C. Foster Elementary School, and KB Polk Elementary School. As a passionate educator she introduced students to the lifetime skills of reading and writing.

Moth, a very loving and giving individual, volunteered her time, talent and treasures to St. Luke’s Church, the Plaid Door, North Dallas Shared Ministries and also served as a board member at St. Simon’s Child Care.
